  • Errors in the document are marked directly on the PDF document, for the graphic designer’s attention, and marked changes need to be effected by the graphic designer
  • Mistakes picked up at this stage may have been introduced during the design stage
  • A document cannot be proofread if it was never edited
  • A document needs to be edited first, before it is proofread
